Calling all cocktail lovers! An unmissable weekend created by ‘Cocktails in the City’ is coming to the Baltic Triangle to host the ultimate summer-starter party.
Enjoy an evening of cocktail creativity with Liverpool’s finest bars at Cocktails in the City 2019.Situated in The Great Baltic Warehouse, the event will take place June 28th-29th and feature 15 of Liverpool’s best bars to create a show-stopping weekend full of carnival cocktails.
Drink enthusiasts can enjoy cocktails from 30 original creations, made exclusively for the festival. Venues such as Aether, Ex-Directory, Laurent-Perrier champagne bar, and pop-up bars from Berry & Rye and the team behind Bongo’s Bingo will be on hand to provide you with all manner of intoxicating curiosities.
Each bar has also paired with a participating brand ranging from Slingsby Gin, Patron Tequila to Laurent-Perrier to create mouth-watering cocktails, guaranteed to quench your thirst. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite cocktail creation, as each venue will be competing to be crowned best bar.
Curious sippers can enjoy two rooms of tantalising drinks that are designed to enliven the senses, whilst also sampling handpicked spirits in a series of tasting rounds. Journey through the ‘Experimental Chamber’ and immerse yourself in sensory tastings, blending sessions, and food and drink pairing experiences.
Throughout the experience ‘Cocktails in the City’ will be on-deck to provide information on summer cocktails trends, insider views from Liverpool’s leading bars, and a collection of drinks recipes.
An exclusive pop-up bar collaboration between Stylist Magazine and Laurent-Perrier Champagne will celebrate Liverpool’s female industry talent, with a menu of delectable champagne cocktails, specifically designed for the festival.
So, kick-start your weekend at the festival with a cocktail-fuelled house party from the legends behind Bongo’s Bingo, or relax in the N100 Bar to celebrate 100 years of Negroni. DJ James Morgan from the Liverpool Disco Festival will provide the soundtrack to the evening, whilst you indulge in some of Liverpool’s best street food.
