Carmine’s café is a fantastic little gem, set in-between the Baltic Triangle area and the splendid Liverpool Marina. A welcoming, friendly neighbourhood place for people to relax, enjoy a delicious breakfast, grab a coffee on the go, and most importantly know they are eating quality food and drink that isn’t industrially produced. With our Italian roots in mind and after a challenging and rewording experience of running our own café in Cains Brewery Village we decided to move to our new and fully equipped unit located at number 3 Sefton Street, and part of the popular “X1 The Quarter” development. We serve freshly prepared food all day with a great range of options. Cakes and bread are locally sourced and of the highest quality. As always, we strive to do our best in everything we do, from our coffee and food to our ethics, and offer customers and friends what the coffee chains often can’t: product knowledge, great customer service and good vibes. Benvenuti da Carmine.
JM Sports Massage is run by Jenny Miller, qualified and experienced sports and remedial massage therapist with an interest in using sports massage to help overall health, wellness and posture-related conditions for people of all ages, strengths and motor abilities. In addition to sports massage, she provides treatments for stress management, osteopathic conditions, rehabilitation exercises, core strength and muscle testing. She firmly believes that you don’t have to be an athlete to benefit from sports massage, as everyone is subject to the aches and pains that have ‘everyday’ causes, such as bad posture or sitting at a desk too long, as well as muscle fatigue, stress and muscle overuse. Jenny is very keen to educate people on using their bodies correctly and will use the blog section of her website to consolidate her position as an authority and pass on useful information relating to sports techniques, posture and health.
If it’s new, we want to create the best spaces that we can for people to live or work in. If it’s old we want to save the best bits and add exciting new elements that will ensure the buildings fit with the demands of modern life. We work with some of the best people in the business – architects, engineers, designers, contractors – who all help us deliver exceptional projects. Some of these projects, on the face of it, were not viable – they just didn’t work financially. But with a combination of creativity and micro-management of difficult schemes, we have made them work. In some cases, we have also helped to bring a financial solution for projects through close connections with development funders.
