Cargo Building opens its doors for glittering launch event

Cargo Building opens its doors for glittering launch event

The new Cargo Building has had its launch party and we went along to inspect the Baltic Triangle’s latest residential development and to look at some of the plush new apartments ready for occupancy.

The great and good of Liverpool turned out for the launch event for the new Cargo Building development in the Baltic Triangle. The residential apartments block were officially opened by the Deputy Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr Christine Banks in a ceremony to mark the completion of this contemporary and iconic new structure.

This event was the culmination of years of hard work in which the developers overcame a number of different obstacles – including construction issues and changes of ownership. However, this project has transformed a previously derelict space into an impressive new community and will play a major part in attracting more people to this vibrant area.

The launch event was organised by OCD Event Management and catered for by Coffee & Fandisha – businesses both based in the Baltic Triangle and an indication of how this development is already making links and creating partnerships with the local community.

The Deputy Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Cllr Christine Banks said: “It is an honour to be here at the official opening of the Cargo Building and I am delighted to be a part of such a wonderful event and for such a great development. Housing is a a very important issue and this project delivers just what Liverpool needs – a selection of high quality homes to rent.”
