The Baltic Triangle podcast was created to promote business in Liverpool and provide a platform for listeners to hear about innovation and success stories in the City.
In this episode we hear from Sophie Wilson who has recently relocated back to Liverpool in Baltic Co-working space Basecamp and reinvented her PR Company Tuesday Media. Sophie discusses what it was like to contract coronavirus in the early days before lock-down 1.0 and the affects of long-covid.
At this point, long-covid had not been classified as a side-effect of the disease and Sophie had decided to conduct her own research. This led her to Professor Paul Garner from Liverpool’s School of Tropical Medicine, who had recorded his own diary on the longer side effects of Covid.
Sophie used her skills in PR to bring more awareness to the subject by writing articles and conducting interviews on the subject.
Our other guest is Max McDonough who is the proprietor of Raw Hide Custom.
Raw Hide is a company based in Liverpool’s North Docks and designs and manufactures leather goods. All products are handmade and hand-stitches with highest quality leather.
Max talks about the his journey from start-up to now featuring in some of the worlds biggest magazines with custom products being in high demand.
