Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia or “Liverpool Psych Fest” is described brilliantly by its organisers as a “pan-continental celebration of audio-futurists, operating at the bleeding edge of today’s psychedelic renaissance”.
Liverpool Psych Fest is held annually at Camp and Furnace, making use of its two main converted warehouse spaces as well the many other smaller rooms throughout the site. Since it’s first incarnation in 2012 the festival has grown exponentially and has become some what of a phenomenon, attracting people from far and wide. The guardian recently declared “Liverpool, the great psychedelic capital of Europe”.
The festival takes place over the course of a weekend during September and this year is no different as dates have been confirmed for 22nd and 23rd September. This year will offer more than ever as festival goers can look forward to a whole host of musical acts (including bands and DJs), label curations, installations audiovisual explorations and PZYK Cosmos.
