About your hosts Mick Ord and Mark Reeson
Mick Ord spent 30 years at the BBC starting off as a reporter in the mid-eighties and progressing to become BBC Radio Merseyside’s longest-serving manager.
He left in 2012 having been appointed the editor of the BBC’s religion and ethics website based at Media City in Salford.
He left the BBC in 2015 to set up Mickord.com – specialising in Media Training, Crisis Communications and PR
Mark Reeson is a Director and Lighting Cameraman, who has worked in broadcast, music, digital and corporate media sectors for over thirty years. His company Stickleback Corporation works on projects all over the world from production bases in Liverpool and London. Your story, well told, is how they describe what they do. They produce films that leave a lasting impression on your audience, with powerful content and striking images. Stickleback specialise in working at board level with some of the world’s top brands including Lloyds Banking Group, BUPA, EDF Energy, Santander, Barclays, Coca Cola, Marks & Spencer, BMW and many more.
